Intro to Mountain Biking
New to mountain biking? Transitioning from bike paths to trails? Then this is for you. During your 3-hour Intro to Mtn Biking, our certified coach will go over what to wear and pack for your next trip on the trail. Then we’ll hit the dirt to learn the basics of body positioning, shifting, braking, cornering, and descending techniques.
Must be able to ride a bike for 2 hours
Must be comfortable on small hills
-Adult, 26” wheel mtn bike or larger
-Properly fitted helmet
-Your bike must have a MINIMUM of 9 gears, disc brakes, front suspension.
-Small backpack to carry your extra layers and water (unless you have a bottle holder on your bike)
-A recommended “what to wear” list will be emailed to you after you’ve signed up.
- Bikes and Helmets not included. Rentals available at an additional cost.
