Accessible from our front door, the Bill Milne bike path is a 10 km paved trail offering spectacular views en route to Wedge Pond. It’s a great outing for the whole family. Prefer to explore double or single track? We can recommend a trail suitable to your skill level. Helmets are always included.

Canoeing, a Canadian tradition. Take a day to enjoy one of the three area lakes. Boat rentals include all equipment. These stable boats are great for beginners and advanced paddlers alike. Canoes and SUPs must be picked up at our shop location.

You are responsible for loading, tieing down, and safely transporting all gear to the lake of your choice.

  • Choose Summer Rentals or Winter Rentals if you don’t see what you are looking for. 
  • Pick the date you would like, then the item you would like.
  • Fill in the appropriate forms and pay using any major credit card. Viola!
  • Your equipment will be waiting for you at the date and time you requested. Please note for 1 day rentals: equipment must be returned on the day it is picked up.

Cancellations made with more than 72 hours notice are refundable in full less a $10 administration fee. Cancellations made within the 72-hour window are not refundable. Reservations may not be rescheduled inside the 72-hour window due to inclement weather.

There are three cross country ski areas in Kananaskis. Ribbon Creek area is located just outside our doors. Peter Lougheed is 30 minutes down the road. Mount Shark is further down the road but offers more advanced trails and a biathlon range.

A voluntary paid parking pass program is now in effect to support ski trail grooming in Kananaskis. Passes are sold per vehicle and are $10/day or $50/season. Read more about this program on our blog. Passes can be purchased in our shop or online at kananaskisgrooming.ca
