We still don’t have the crowds like other mountain destinations, but that’s a good thing. The new Kananaskis Nordic Spa, with its Canadian Rockies ‘flavour,’ is a great example of this.”

Kananaskis Outfitters also rents quality sporting gear including Nordic skis, snowshoes, fat bikes, and ice skates. Their popular winter tours include winter stargazing, fat-biking to a frozen waterfall, and beginner snowshoeing.
