Winter Wonderland Package

Start your day at Boundary Ranch with an old-fashioned horse-drawn Sleigh Ride. On your ride, you will stop for photos of our resident herd of Bison in the viewing paddock while you enjoy a hot chocolate and marshmallows. A break for the horses and turn around at our Teepee Village will give you a small glimpse into the past local indigenous way of life.

Afterward, make your way to Kananaskis Outfitters for an awe-inspiring Snowshoe Tour followed by an hour of ice skating on the pond.

Your Sleigh Ride (35-45 minutes) at Boundary Ranch departs at 11 am. Please arrive at 10:30 am to check-in. Guests are to dress for the weather and encouraged to bring their own blankets to cozy up under on the sleigh. Lunch is not included in the package, you are welcome to bring your own or purchase lunch from Market Café or Moose Family Kitchen (both are located in the Kananaskis Village). Unfortunately due to current health regulations picnicking is not permitted at Boundary Ranch.

Your two-hour Snowshoe Tour will begin at 1:30 pm. Please arrive at Kananaskis Outfitters 15 minutes early to check-in. Guests must wear masks while indoors and any time they cannot maintain a 2-meter distance from other guests or staff. Once you return from snowshoeing, you will receive your skates for an hour of gliding on the Village skating pond.

This family-friendly tour is recommended for participants aged 6 years +.
